Lately, the one album that's been able to help me fall asleep is by a Russian indie/dream pop band called bessonnitsa, which ironically means "insomnia." Hopefully, I will forget this so I don't end up queueing it up and thinking "TIL this means sleeplessness" and staring at the ceiling.

Earlier today I took this picture of an ornamental kale just to send to someone with the message "Remember the time you thought I was fucking with you that kale and broccoli are the same vegetable?"

This presumably American recipe that describes risotto as being "like Italian mac and cheese" is breaking my mind. If only Italians knew about pasta!

I couldn't remember the word "gijinka" (fanart that reimagines animal characters as human) and none of my searches were turning up the word, just listicles of drawings so in my desperation I typed in "Orville Wilbur Dodo gay art" and it was in like, the third result, thank you everyone who was so thirsty for pilots with unrealistic abs last spring.

These Art Deco-ish bat earrings are making me strongly regret that I let my ear piercings close up during the last year.
